Clean Screens

This screen is a self cleaning screen. The self cleaning process is achieved by the difference in frequency with which the wires vibrate.
Clean Screens will keep blinding and clogging to a minimum and thus reduce overun and increase production.
Clean screens with their unique types of openings are most commonly used in the following types of applications:

  • When the material is damp and sticky
  • When extracting flaky material from the product
  • When screening under extremely dusty conditions.

There are two types of Clean Screens

  • CS 1: For screening small to medium sized material
  • CS 2: For screening medium to large sized material

Ordering

It is important to give the following information:

  • Type of Material being screened
  • Length of screen and overlap if required
  • Hook type and hook dimensions (width)
  • Is the screen side tensioned or edge tensioned
  • Required mesh opening and wire diameter
  • Type of clean screen required - CS 1 or CS 2
  • The pitch and the number of screen support bars (centre to centre)
  • Number, location and size of bolt holes (if any)
